It’s always nice to see a credit card linking your personal expenditure with charitable donations. Nationwide’s Comic Relief Card does this very well.

Here’s what the card offers: 

• Nationwide make a donation to Comic Relief of £5.85 when you first use your card.
• 0.5% of the value of your purchases donated thereafter.
• Commission-free card use abroad, unlike the banks.
• Up to 56 days interest free credit.
• Free purchase cover for loss, theft or damage to most purchases over £50.
• Free 12 month extended warranty on selected goods.
• Typical 17.9% APR variable.
